The Waight

Each piece is hand built by Courtney Hunter, the founder of The Waight. Her vision is to create artful versions of everyday objects for the home. Courtney is a ceramic artist by way of fashion, before pursuing her passion for ceramics she spent 17 years designing knitwear. She approaches ceramics as a collection, pieces are meant to be mixed and matched and collected over time.

Courtney works out of a community studio in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. When she isn’t in the studio, you can most likely find her strolling around Ballard with her family.
