Ladro

The first Ladro cafe opened in 1994.Our first location just happened to be next to a Starbuck’s. Since we were hoping to win over some customers, we decided to call ourselves Caffe Ladro, which is Italian for Coffee Thief. We have been stealing hearts ever since. Over the next 25 years we have grown to 18 Seattle area cafes, a fulltime scratch bakery and an award winning roasting and wholesale division. Ladro added roasting to our repertoire in 2010, resulting in a diverse menu of classic blends and single origin offerings- 50% (min) of which is Fair Trade Organic. Ladro believes profound service improves the world. We continually strive to provide this service- whether it be with customers at a café, wholesale partners, or coffee farmers.
