Upcycling is our passion. At Birdcraft Studio, our mission is to honor the life of textiles by rescuing and transforming them into something new. We collect off-cuts, samples, deadstock and more from local businesses and turn them into beautiful, functional products. We are best known for our ruffled scrunchies, but our lineup is always evolving with fresh, gift-worthy pieces. Each item is crafted with at least 70% reclaimed fabric, helping reduce demand for virgin materials and prevent landfill waste. Upcycling takes time: sourcing, cleaning, organizing, and sewing, yet it is deeply rewarding. The limitations of reclaimed textiles fuel our creativity and ensure every piece is unique, purposeful, and rooted in sustainability.

We offer a wide range of sustainable products and gifts, from hair accessories and bookmarks to Kindle and book sleeves, slow stitch and visible mending kits, snap pouches, and sustainable party and holiday decorations. Each piece is handcrafted in our studio using upcycled fabric, reflecting our commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainability.
