A Japanese seasoning or condiment paste made from yuzu skin or its juice, salt, and fresh chili peppers then allowed to cure for a month, then ground into a thick paste. As a condiment it’s versatility can be used for all types of dishes, and because of it’s unique flavor it can be added to soups, poached or scrambled eggs, salads, mix with sour cream or plain yogurt to create a dip and spread, use as a quick marinade for fish or pork, on fatty foods such as beef rib steaks, pork belly, as well as all types of seafood dishes and of course rice, quinoa, or any other cooked grains.
