Handcrafted functional tableware made of porcelain clay inspired by Shaker philosophy: Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don’t hesitate to make it beautiful. Hand thrown items include mugs, bowls of many sizes and functions, garlic jars, French butter dishes, spoon rests, vases, teapots, and dinnerware. They are mostly painted or incised in designs inspired by nature, although some pieces are simply glazed with stamped designs highlighted with bright colors. These are pots made to be used and are microwavable and dishwasher safe. Maybe they will take you back to a simpler time, like visiting your grandmother’s kitchen.
