A former K-8 art & science teacher, for 20+ years I have been creating Morph-O-Scopes – unique, coloring and drawing activity toys that introduce kids to optical physics in a fun way. My inspiration – an ingenious 500 year-old visual illusion device, the anamorphoscope, I’d seen in a Harvard University museum. Anamorphoscopes have 2 interrelated parts: an unrecognizable, twisted picture (the morph) and a mirrored cylinder (the decoder). Place the decoder on the morph and it magically untangles the whorled picture, reflecting it “mirror-aculously” as a normal image! My delightfully awesome, brain-tickling line is now in 21st century homes and classrooms worldwide. Morph-O-Scopes Kits have won 28 top educational toy awards & universal kudos.
