State of the Local Economy: Business Listening Session

The Good Business Network of WA (formerly Seattle Good Business Network) invites you to join us for our State of the Local Economy Listening Session on Wednesday, July 16th from 3:30 – 5:00pm. The purpose of this event is for policy makers, agencies, and support organizations to hear from businesses and organizations about their needs with respect to the challenges they are facing, both from an ongoing basis as well as as a result of recent federal actions.
We invite Washington businesses and organizations to attend and provide testimony to their experiences and offer input on policy solutions or specific areas of support you need from your elected officials and wider community.
There are Two Ways to Submit Feedback:
- State of the Local Economy SurveyWe ask both attendees and those unable to attend to complete this survey. All responses remain anonymous. Results will be aggregated, and a summary will be shared at the event as well as with additional local, state, and federal representatives.
In order to include your feedback in this summary, please complete this survey by Sunday, July 13.
- Oral testimonyEach organization will have 2 minutes to provide testimony. We cannot guarantee all attendees who wish to provide comments will be able to at the event, but we have prioritized this time to allow as many as possible are able to. We will reach out separately to those interested with additional guidance.
You can indicate your interest in providing oral testimony when you complete your ticket registration or when you complete the State of the Local Economy Survey.
For those who are unable to attend the event in person, we will be live-streaming and recording for later viewing. If you would like to attend virtually, please register for a virtual ticket, and we will send out a Zoom link ahead of the event.
