Almquist Family Winery

Since 2008, Almquist Family wines have won more than 180 medals in international competitions. We are a working urban winery, wine garden, wine lounge, wine bar, restaurant, event space just steps from the Fremont Bridge. Join us and sample some of our critically acclaimed wines. Bask in the breeze off the Ship Canal sipping our cold crisp whites or take refuge inside our upstairs wine bar with a glass of one of our many award-winning reds.

The Works

The Works provides a collection of seasonal classes in backyard food growing, artisanal cooking, and at-home entertaining to a diverse community of growers, doers, and makers. Classes are small, with hands-on instruction and a focus on learning immediately useful skills. Summer classes have just been announced and are already selling out – join us and learn to grow herbs in your kitchen window, bake your own bread, make an incredible seasonal cocktail – and more!
