DESCRIPTION:We’re keeping textiles out of the landfill – and we’re doing it with style! \nOn Friday\, September 11th\, join us at Transcend in Pacific Place to find out how local designers are transforming textile waste in the Shoddy not Shoddy Design Challenge! \nOur participating designers have created proof-of-concept works that transforms shoddy (shredded fabric) into not-so-shoddy original designs that blend utility\, craftsmanship\, and circularity. \nAttendees will get to cast their vote for audience favorite\, shop upcycled bespoke pieces from Transcend\, and celebrate the hard work of Seattle’s most innovative designers.
